Space is limited.  Therefore furniture has dual or even more uses so that space can be utilized efficiently.  Bunk beds are flipped over to make a table or flipped up against the wall to make a walkway.   Storage shelving becomes creative with secret sections under, over anything and everything.  Living in a shelter you have to minimize what you can use in the shelter.  You basically have everything you had in your home, you just can't leave.  The electric, water sewage, and wifi are all connected from your house to the shelter.  Although if there is a breakdown in the power grid, then it is up to the residence of the shelter to use alternative power sources that will run all the immediatis plus filter your air.
